Wests Tigers v Dragons

Sunday 28th August, 2pm

Try Scorer Tips

Zac Lomax ATS @ $3.3 on TAB

Adam Doueihi FTS/LTS @ $29 on Bet365

Update Sun 28/8 – The best odds for Lomax are now $3 on Pointsbet. It’s still the best value play according to our model and up against an understrength Tigers outfit, we’re happy to still recommend it. Doueihi is $29 on Bet365 to score the first/last try which is good value considering most sites have him around $21. Both teams have only pride to play for and we think this suits Doueihi who could crash over through individual brilliance at any time.

NRL Draftstars Advice

Jock Madden, Jayden Sullivan & Tom Freebairn are rated 8/10 in our value ratings and all priced below $12,000. We think choosing two or three of them would be a great way to start building your lineups.

There are only four players with a ceiling range above 70 in this contest. We’ve seen teams who are no longer in the hunt for the finals playing high scoring games and with this in mind, we think Doueihi & Amone are standout picks. Doueihi has very little around him so will take control in good ball sets. Amone has been in great try scoring form and is priced at only $13,930.

Titans v Knights

Sunday 28th August, 4.05pm

Try Scorer Tips

Tino Faasuamaleaui FTS @ $67 & ATS @ $7 on Neds

Beau Fermor & AJ Brimson ATS @ $3.75 on Neds

Tanah Boyd FTS @ $34 on Neds

Edrick Lee ATS @ $1.94 on Neds

Update Sun 28/8 – Fermor is into $3 for ATS on Pointsbet & Neds. It’s still OK value but it shows how good the $3.75 was earlier in the week! Tino is surprisingly still at the great odds he was earlier in the week and we’d definitely recommend that as a great value option. He’s significantly higher odds than most other bookies and our model & his historical odds have him at. Brimson, Boyd & Lee are great value as well and we think Lee especially could be a great option for same game multis being on the left wing for the Knights.

NRL Draftstars Advice

Tex Hoy & Adam Clune are both priced under $10,000 & have value ratings of 8/10. Although the Titans are favourites in this game, we think they can form a great combination with Edrick Lee on the Knights’ left side so we think they are great value pickups to start building your lineup around.

There are six players with a ceiling range over 70 points in this contest. We think Greg Marzhew & AJ Brimson are the way to go at only $13,000 and $16,960 respectively. Most fans would be expecting an open, high-scoring game which perfectly suits Marzhew and Brimson.

Broncos v Eels

Thursday 25th August, 7.50pm

Try Scorer Tips

Shaun Lane Anytime Try Scorer (ATS) @ $5.50 & FTS2H/LTS @ $41 on TAB

NRL Round 24 Odds Comparison Tool
NRL Round 24 Odds Comparison Tool

Shaun Lane has been in great form for the Eels in recent weeks and he’s priced around $30 or less for FTS and $4.25 or less for ATS on most other bookies.

You can find your own NRL value plays on our free odds comparison tool here.

NRL Draftstars Advice

The Broncos have lost Cobbo, Kennedy & James and are still missing Pat Carrigan. The Eels looked great last week with Mitch Moses back so we agree with the bookies and think Parramatta are well deserved favourites here. The Broncos have Turpin, Palasia & Hetherington all under $10k who are all good value picks.

There are eight players with a ceiling range (average of their 3 highest DFS scores in 2022) over 70 in this $20,000 contest. We think Kotoni Staggs is definitely a fade option given he’s looked lacklustre the last few weeks whilst the Broncos have been out of form. It’s Adam Reynolds‘ 250th game, Haas should get more minutes & points with Pat Carrigan still missing & either Lane & Brown (left edge) or Papali’i & Moses (right edge) would be good picks if you agree with us and think the Eels will get the job done tonight.

Panthers v Warriors

Friday 26th August, 6pm

Try Scorer Tips

Moses Leota FTS @ $81 on Neds

Sean O’Sullivan ATS @ $4.20 on Sportsbet

Update Fri 26/8 – Leota is now down to $67 on Neds but he’s $46 or less on every other site and our model has his odds projected at $41. The Panthers are 30 point favourites against the Warriors so this is a great value play whichever way you look at it! O’Sullivan is now at $4.30, significantly higher odds than our model suggests he should be ($2.93) and most other bookies also have him at $3.50 or less.

NRL Draftstars Advice

The two players who are rated 10/10 in our value ratings are Brian To’o & Eliesa Katoa. Given their price, they definitely seem like standout picks. With Aitken and Murchie out, Katoa should get 60+ minutes on the edge for the Warriors. It’s unlikely he’ll get many attacking opportunities but he should get 35+ quite easily with the increased role he’ll have. To’o is a base stats beast and it wouldn’t be difficult for him to crack 50 DFS points if he can cross for a try or two.

There are four players with a ceiling range over 70 points in this game. We think Viliame Kikau is the best pick here. Given the Panthers are expected to beat the Warriors by a big margin, we think it’s best to avoid Panthers middle forwards, so picking Kikau who has a ceiling range of 70 could be a smart way to start building your lineup. Isaah Yeo is someone we would recommend fading (leaving out) as Fisher-Harris is back for the Panthers and we think Yeo could be due a rest.

Storm v Roosters

Friday 26th August, 7.55pm

Try Scorer Tips

Jesse Bromwich FTS @ $101 on TAB & Neds

Kenny Bromwich & Felise Kaufusi FTS @ $51 on Neds

Joey Manu ATS @ $3.25 on Topsport

Cam Munster ATS @ $3.15 on Topsport

Update Fri 26/8 – Cam Munster continues to be named at five-eighth but will likely play at full-back throughout the game. He’s been in sublime form so we’ll continue to pick him out as a value play. Joey Manu is $3.30 on Playup and $3.05 on Topsport. He’s been roaming around the field and getting a lot more touches in recent weeks. Our model has him priced at $2.54 so there’s clear value at the $3.05-3.30 price.

The Melbourne Storm second rowers are both priced at $51 and we think they are both great value to score the first try. Our model has them both priced at $34 and they aren’t priced higher than that at any of the other major bookies. Jesse Bromwich is still $67 to score the Storm’s first/last try. That price for him to just score his team’s first try is an excellent price. He’s also $101 to score the first try of the match, which is great value according to our model and his career strike rate.

NRL Draftstars Advice

We agree with most NRL fans in thinking this game will go down to the last few minutes. We’re expecting a blockbuster contest with semi-finals like intensity and therefore think picking middle forwards or hookers is where you should spend your money in this contest. The Roosters’ starting forwards are all rated 10/10 in our value ratings and we think they’re all good picks. JWH, Radley & Matt Lodge are really well priced as is Lindsay Collins.

There are nine players with a ceiling range over 70 points in this contest. Deciding between Joey Manu, Cam Munster & James Tedesco will be make or break for most DFS teams tonight. Munster and Manu have been roaming in attack and Tedesco is arguably the most consistently dominant player in the game at the moment. If you have a gut feeling on which team will win, we’d recommend you go with a player from that team. We don’t want to be called fence sitters so we’ll go Joey Manu as the standout pick tonight.

Raiders v Sea Eagles

Saturday 27th August, 3pm

Try Scorer Tips

Jamal Fogarty FTS @ $34 on Topsport

Hudson Young ATS @ $3.35 on Neds

Update Sat 27/8 – Young is now into $3.05 on Neds but Manly have had a further couple of injuries in that time so we still think it’s a great value pick. Our model has him priced at $2.58 so anything at $3 or above is a great price for the in-form Young in a must-win game for the Raiders.

Fogarty is available at $31-34 on Topsport & Playup. Our model has him priced at $26 so we think he’s a good value pick at anything above $30. He does lurk around the ruck and with the Raiders’ forward pack in scintillating form, we love the price for Fogarty.

Quick note on Manly’s rookie winger Tuaimalo Vaega being shown as good value on our odds comparison tool. The Raiders are strong favourites in this game and he isn’t great value at these odds but our model usually doesn’t price rookies well which is what has happened here.

NRL Draftstars Advice

Albert Hopoate & Ben Trbojevic are both priced at $9,000 and should be great value picks in today’s contest. Hopoate has taken Cotric’s wing spot for the Raiders who need to win to keep their season alive. Trbojevic should either start in the centres or back-row for the struggling Sea Eagles.

There are four players with a ceiling range above 70 points in this contest. Considering Manly’s season is over and they are missing almost half of their starting side, we think Tapine and Young are the way to go if you’re looking for upside in your lineup. Winning by a big margin would give the Raiders a big boost so we think Fogarty is also a great pickup as he’s their goal kicker.

Sharks v Bulldogs

Saturday 27th August, 5.30pm

Try Scorer Tips

Briton Nikora ATS @ $3.80 on Neds

Uele/Hunt FTS @ $51 on Topsport

Update Sat 27/8 – We’ve added Braden Uele and Royce Hunt as a value play at $51 to score the first try on Topsport. Our model has them both priced around $30 and they are two of the best up and coming try scoring forwards in the comp. Just wait for final team lists to make sure they are starting before getting on.

Nikora is still $3.75 and we absolutely love this play. He plays on the right edge with Hynes and Ramien and is priced around $3 by most other bookies and our model. In a game where most fans and bookies are expecting the Sharks to win by more than 3 tries, this is a great value play for same game multis or boosts/promotions on Neds.

Harrison Edwards was $101 to score the first try and $14 to score a try anytime on Playup. If you see those odds hanging around on any other bookies, it’s a great value pick as he likely plays 2nd row with Josh Jackson playing in the middle to start.

NRL Round 24 Odds Comparison Tool

NRL Draftstars Advice

Braden Uele, Andrew Fifita & Kayal Iro are our standout value picks in this contest. Uele & Fifita should get more minutes with Dale Finucane out. It’s also Fifita’s last game ever at Pointsbet Stadium so you know he’ll be in for a huge game. Iro could play on the wing or at fullback for the Sharks and regardless should be a great pick up at $9,000.

There are 9 players with a ceiling range above 70 points. We’re going to sound like a broken record here but with the Sharks being strong favourites again, we think Hynes & Ramien are great picks on the right edge for the Sharks with great upside too.

Rabbitohs v Cowboys

Saturday 27th August, 7.35pm

Try Scorer Tips

Luciano Leilua OR Tom Gilbert FTS/LTS @ $41 on Bet365 (Dependant on final teams)

Val Holmes ATS @ $4 on Pointsbet

Siliva Havili FTS @ $67, FTS/LTS Team @ $34 on TAB

Update Sat 27/8 – Luciano Leilua and Tom Gilbert are now into $34-38 on Bet365 and Topsport. Wait for final team lists for this play but whoever starts is a good value play at $34 or above. The Cowboys are missing Tom Dearden, however, with Drinkwater moving to the halves and Tabuai-Fidow play at fullback they shouldn’t miss too much in attack. The Rabbitohs are playing to secure a spot in the finals but the Cowboys are playing to keep a top 2 spot alive, so both teams should be fully motivated for this one.

Val Holmes is available at $3.75 on TAB which is still one of our model’s best value picks for this contest. Our model has him priced at less than $3 and he has also been in great form for the Cowboys.

Update – Damien Cook is OUT. Siliva Havili FTS @ $67 on TAB, FTS/LTS Team @ $34 on TAB is great value.

NRL Round 24 Odds Comparison Tool

You can find your own NRL value plays on our free odds comparison tool here.

NRL Draftstars Advice

There are a bunch of good value options from both teams’ outside backs in this contest. Our standout value pick is Tabuai-Fidow at $9,000. He’s been playing off the bench and still getting reasonable scores. Today he’ll get a full game at fullback with Tom Dearden out. We think he could easily surpass the 32 points our model has him projected for.

There are 9 players in this contest with a ceiling range in this blockbuster game. Given the importance of this game for both teams, we think the forwards are worth spending more money on. Cook, Murray & Cotter seem the best picks here. Cotter has been working his way back into more minutes and good form. Cook & Murray have both been in impressive form and have the capacity to go big on their day.
