Sharks v Cowboys
Fri 20/9, 7.50pm
Wicky’s breakdown – The Sharks’ left edge has been their defensive weakness over the last couple of seasons. If the Cowboys’ attack can click – we’d go with Nanai and Feldt as try scorers.
For the Sharks in attack – with so much pressure on Hynes from the media and punters alike – we’ll back in Nikora to have a huge game with Hynes feeding him quality ball.
One last note – the Cowboys are close to the worst side in the comp in terms of leaking tries to middle forwards. Look out for big boy Tommy Hazelton to crash over, running at a clearly weaker lot of Cows bench forwards.

Roosters v Manly
Sat 21/9, 7.50pm
Wicky’s breakdown – The Roosters will be desperate to avoid a straight sets exit with so many of their legends retiring this season. Keary’s going to have to play a huge role in attack. With Sandon Smith and Sitili Tupouniua (Radley could be a late in here) on the right side, we’re thinking Angus Crichton could be a focal player in attack for them this weekend.
For Manly, they’ll go all in on their blockbuster right side edge with DCE and Olakau’atu.
