With LeBron James and Anthony Davis out, Lakers veteran Carmelo Anthony (PF $9,040) had the fourth highest ownership (37%) on Wednesday, yet also yielded only 12 DS points, playing 15 minutes for four points, four rebounds and one assist.
Lakers teammates Stanley Johnson (SF|PF $8,060) and Malik Monk (SG $11,500) offered the value in the star pair’s absence with 31.25 DS points and 42.5 DS points respectively.

Sixers forward Tobias Harris was Wednesday’s value pick with 53.25 DS points, playing 36 minutes and scoring 22 points with 11 rebounds and six assists.
INJURY NEWS
Embiid (C $21,960) tweaked his ankle on the weekend against the Phoenix Suns but played the 76ers’last game and will be needed as they battle for a high seed.
Antetokounmpo (PF|SF $22,120) is listed as a game-time decision for the Bucks against the Nets, while James (SF|PG $21,230) is out with an ankle injury for the Lakers and Davis (C $17,870) is doubtful as he bids to return from a midfoot sprain meaning there’s still value within the Lakers ranks.
Bulls guard Zach LaVine (SG $14,430) has had some injury trouble lately and is listed as day-to-day, while Paul George (SG $17,270) returned in style after three months out with an elbow injury, scoring 57.5 DS points.
The Cavs have a few issues with Evan Mobley (C|P F $13,970) out with an ankle injury for three games, joining fellow big man Jarrett Allen (C $13,390) on the sidelines, which help boost Kevin Love (PF|C $14,200) or Ed Davis’ (C $6,000) scoring opportunities.

VALUE PICKS
Jazz forward Rudy Gay (SF|PF $6,450) has had some key minutes lately and has posted DS scores of 32 and 17.25 in a row, after a dry run where his price dropped drastically. He looks a good option.
Utah teammate Juancho Hernangomez (PF|C $6,610) has been getting good starting minutes, resulting in good recent DS scores, with a three-game average of 23.5 up on his 7.2 season average.
Hawks three-point shooter Kevin Huerter (SG|SF $9,980) is in a good patch of form, posting 35, 36 and 31 DS points from his past three games, offering good value with a three-game average of 34 up on his season average of 22.9.
Another Atlanta option is Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot (SF $6,000).

STUD PLAYS & FADES
The Cavs absentees have made Darius Garland (PG $18,660) extremely relevant from a Draftstars point of view, with a three-game average of 52.5, up on his season average of 41.4. He’s gone 55+ in his past two games and managed a season-high 72.25 earlier this month showcasing his ceiling.
Don’t expect much of an output change from Russell Westbrook (PG $17,220) despite James and Davis being out.
