Tuesday’s $25,000 slate
Most owned
Alec Burks – NYK – SG|SF $8,950 – 67% – 15 points
Scottie Barnes – TOR – SF|PF $12,480 – 47% – 31 points
Terry Rozier – CHA – PG|SG $13,110 – 42% – 36.75 points
Top scorers
Donovan Mitchell – UTA – SG|PF $19,870 – 2% – 58.75 points
Mitchell Robinson – NYK – C $10,340 – 4% – 58.25 points
Devin Booker – PHX – SG|PG $17,070 – 40% – 54.5 points
Value picks
Mitchell Robinson – NYK – C $10,340 – 4% – 58.25 points
Udoka Azubuike – UTA – C $6,000 – 22% – 30 points
Corey Kispert – WAS – SF|SG $6,560 – 1% – 31 points
Slate winner JaysenMigs had key picks Rozier, Booker and Robinson and faded top-owned Burks who failed to deliver, while he found some relatively unique value at 26% ownership with P.J. Washington (PF $8,790) adding 33.75 DS points.
Monday’s $20,000 slate
Most owned
Brandon Goodwin – CLE – PG $7,030 – 79% – 7.75 points
Brandon Ingram – NOP – SF|PF $15,630 – 48% – 63.75 points
Keifer Sykes – IND – PG $6,000 – 43% – 19.75 points
Top scorers
Brandon Ingram – NOP – SF|PF $15,630 – 48% – 63.75 points
Jrue Holiday – MIL – PG $14,190 – 5% – 60.25 points
Giannis Antetokounmpo – MIL – PF|C $20,580 – 36% – 55.5 points
Value picks
Rajon Rondo – CLE – PG $6,000 – 2% – 42.25 points
Cedi Osman – CLE – SF|SG $7,310 – 11% – 38.5 points
Josh Green – DAL – SF|PF $6,000 – 8% – 25.5 points
Interestingly owning top scorer Ingram wasn’t critical to victory in this slate, with winner Roush fading him and spending big on Antetokounmpo. Roush faded top-owned Brandon Goodwin, although he wasn’t expensive, but found all the value with Osman, Rondo and Green along with Jrue Holiday (PG $14,190) for his 60.25 DS points. This is another intriguing example on how the NBA Draftstars slate winners succeeded this week.
Sunday’s $25,000 slate
Most owned
Ty Jerome – OKC – SG|PF $6,000 – 68% – 21 points
Mamadi Diakite – OKC – C $6,310 – 56% – 19 points
Spencer Dinwiddie – WAS – PG $11,330 – 45% – 10 points
Top scorers
Anthony Davis – LAL – PF|C $19,640 – 10% – 68.25 points
Julius Randle – NYK – PF|C $15,150 – 28% – 66.5 points
LeBron James – LAL – SF|PF $19,500 – 3% – 64.75 points
Value picks
Maurice Harkless – SAC – SF|PF $8,670 – 4% – 41.25 points
Trevor Ariza – LAL – SF|PF $6,000 – 0% – 28.5 points
Aleksej Pokusevski – OKC – PF|SF $6,000 – 5% – 27.25 points
Serial slate winner dtownsend triumphed, having the top two most-owned players who weren’t great but fading Dinwiddie who was poor for his price. Randle was a key pick providing value in the mid-price/premium category.
Saturday’s $25,000 slate
Most owned
Kyrie Irving – BRK – PG|SG $14,900 – 66% – 28.75 points
Caris LeVert – IND – SG|SF $13,230 – 48% – 59.25 points
Anfernee Simons – POR – SG|PG $11,660 – 38% – 34.25 points
Top scorers
Luka Doncic – DAL – PG $22,330 – 6% – 77.75 points
Nikola Vucevic – CHI – C $18,350 – 12% – 70.75 points
Joel Embiid – PHI – C $22,800 – 3% – 61.25 points
Value picks
Cam Thomas – BKN – SG|PG $6,000 – 4% – 41 points
Josh Christopher – HOU – SG|SF $6,130 – 0% – 41.75 points
Hamidou Diallo – DET – SG|SF $7,550 – 10% – 42.5 points
Doncic wasn’t cheap but he scored big, boosting slate winner Dwade – who was one of the 6% to own him – to glory. Dwade also selected the slate’s second top scorer Vucevic which made him hard to beat, even without LeVert who offered great value. Dwade found value with low-owned Diallo.
